My name is Daniel Hediger, I was born in 1972 in Menziken (Switzerland) and grew up in Reinach/AG. Today I live in Hunzenschwil/AG and work as a computer- and networktechnician for a little company in Staufen near Lenzburg. Besides computers, my faszination belongs to reptiles of any kind. On this page, I try to tell you a little bit about these creatures.

Since I was a child, I was interested in snakes, but 25 years ago, reptile housing was not very common and only a few adults were able to get them. Therefore my first two ball python (python regius) came to me in 1998. Soon after that, I got myself some calabar ground boas (Calabari reinhardtii) , a couple of brazilian rainbowboas (Epicrates cenchria cenchria) and two Madagascarboas (Acrantophis dumerili). Since then I got more interesting animals, you'll find pictures of them behind the "snakes"-link.

Breeding was a goal I always wanted to reach. First, the circle of life gets closed this way and second, people have the possibility to buy captive bred snakes and don't need to get wild caught reptiles.

If you have any questions concerning the snakes I am taking care of, don't hesitate to contact me with the feedback-form on this website.
